Dishes those look great.

Past two days DH has been making JOC's sour cream waffles - using TJ's fat free Greek style yogurt. We're never looking back!

Very pretty, they look yummy! I had cinnamon-roll french toast, egg, hash brown and bacon, hubby had hash browns with peppers, onion, ham, bacon, and sausage, my son had corned beef hash. All of it was leftovers from Saturday breakfast. Quick and easy since we eat breakfast between our early morning grocery rum to Meijer and our late morning run to Jewel Osco.

i had a cinnamon bun and a piece of the deep dish pizza - both of which were saved away from last night's virtual pizza party for just this occasion, together with a cup of tea. perfect breakfast!

I had Strawberry Cheesecake Pizza for breakfast. More of the regular pizza for during the game... along with wings and 7-Layer Dip.

Rye bagel with chive cream cheese and smoked salmon, a banana and a glass of tangerine iced tea. One of the nearby bagel shops makes these rye bagels with caraway seeds in the dough. They taste so incredibly right with the salmon.

Carol, those remind me a bit of crumpets, but I'm sure they are much better. I have crumpet molds that I used once - I guess I could use them for pancakes, however. I discovered that I really don't like crumpets, but then I don't especially like English muffins either.

Normally I cook breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays, but today I tried some new cereal that I bought yesterday - Nature's Path Organic Flax Plus Multibran Cereal. It has a better flavor any other flake cereal I've tried so far, but it's not as good as the granola I have. I forgot to buy eggs at the market yesterday, and I used two last night in the Crab Louis that I made. King Crab legs were $11 a pound, and so I couldn't resist buying them. I bought about a pound (maybe a little over), which yielded 12 oz of crab meat. I only used 2/3 of it for the two of us and froze the leftover for soup to made later. I was going to put it in an omelet or stir fry this morning, but I didn't feel like making the stir fry. I might make that this evening, however.

Carol, those look great! We had our usual Sunday fare, pancakes, eggs and bacon.

I had a rather large slice of the lemon ricotta bundt cake I made yesterday. SOMEONE has to eat it! I'm all alone here! It was really good with my morning coffee.

We had munchkins! Why? Because my son woke up "dry" today. Though potty-trained for quite a while, he still has problems during the night. IMO partially caused by the "convenience" of pull-ups. So I said "no more pullups" a few nights ago. Lots of laundry later, I told him we'd have munchkins if he stayed dry overnight. He likes munchkins. ;)

What are Munchkins (besides small people who live in Oz)?

I baked my Carrot, Zucchini, Apple muffins with coconut, dried cranberries, dried persimmon and Meyer lemon rind and juice. I had some leftover beef brisket and ham, so I made a hash to go with over easy eggs.

This particular muffin recipe doesn't rise particularly well (too much stuff, I think)but the shredded vegetables and coconut still make for a nice moist but not heavy texture. I haven't made them for a long time, and so filled the tins a little too full, making it hard to get them out whole, but we don't care if they are a little ragged.;D

Mmmmm.....those pancakes look delicious, especially with the fruit and nut additions! I'm intrigued with the molds - they are very pretty. I prepare all my mom's meals for her and I am always looking for new ways to create appetizing meals for her little bitty frame! Thank you for the link, dishesdone. :)

Today's breakfast was a fruit salad of fresh pineapple, mango and bananas, honey wheat English muffins with homemade pomegranate jelly (a Christmas gift) and tea. Very yummy - all the breakfasts sound so good! Breakfast is my favorite meal. :)

Moe had homemade granola for breakfast and I took the last of my cream cheese filled danish to work with me. That was my breakfast.

We had plain old blueberry pancakes with maple syrup, low acid orange juice and coffee.

There's no such thing as "plain old" blueberry pancakes.

I had lox on some sourdough toast around noon. I haven't eaten lox in a long time and as long as DH (who hates lox)was away, it was time for a treat!

Oh Carol those are really cute pancakes!

Today I had a piece left over from my pizza making yesterday....mine was a vegetable tart, a recipe from Mallorca where I used to live. It's a sort of a ratatouille tart and tastes even better the next day.

I usually have some whole grain toast, fruit or yoghurt and a black coffee but it's nice to eat something different for a change.

High-fiber cereal, orange juice and tea. I'm still repenting the holiday excesses.

I bought 3 dozen glazed Munchkins and made Cardamom Syrup to drip over them. Also had a mango smoothie. Can you say sweet?

I had a soy/pear smoothie, with just enough spinach to make it green and give me some vitamins -- not enough to taste. Nummy!

Ahhh! We don't have Drunkin' Donuts 'round here. In fact, I haven't had a decent doughnut (or doughnut hole) since I moved to the CA central valley.

There was a shop, "Dream Fluff Donuts" in Berkeley that had wonderful doughnuts. Actually, my favorite was plain cake doughnuts, warm. Yum.
