I think consistency is important, especially in a small space. If most of the finishes are chrome (what's your hardware on the vanity, by the way?), by installing a light or lights that are ORB, you are drawing attention to them and you might want to think about that. Seems like from what I've seen on the shows where people are fixing up to sell, keeping things neutral is a good way to go. And just because you can see the two lights from the LR, doesn't mean they should match; the lav and the LR are very distinct spaces, after all. If you feel its too cold in there with all chrome, perhaps warm up the space with a nice pop of color in your hand towel, mat on the floor if you are so inclined, or other small accessory. Louise Soil could be wet deep inside, even if top is dry. it all depends on what it consists of. Best way to find out is to use bamboo or other wood skewer or chopstick, that will reach deep down into pt. Extra water accumulates there, and it could keep your soil mix wet. It is impossible to guess what the bugs are without photo and sometimes even with photo :) I understand that it is very difficult to photo very small bugs. Could be springtails (they come in many different sizes, colors and shapes), soil mites, root aphids...and many. many more. It is possible for bagged soil to be infected, but bugs still need certain conditions they like to thrive and multiply. More organics in your mix and more water + higher temps and/or humidity, better environments there is for many bugs. Common advice is not to use things like worm castings in potting mix. They are great for gardens, not so much in containers. (from wiki): Springtails commonly consume fungal hyphae and spores, but also have been found to consume plant material and pollen, animal remains, colloidal materials, minerals and bacteria. ETA: I just looked up Ecothrive Charge. It is beetle poop - so you are adding more poop to your pots, together with worm poop. ..."Laboratory tests have shown that Charge consistently contains more than 450 million colony forming units of beneficial rhizosphere bacteria per gram! "... It also states: ..."Charge is a 100% naturally-produced potting soil enhancer ..." Soil enhancer is not fertilizer IIRC.

Thanks MissRed 58! I would not put a wall or enclose the toilet. Just build the shower and have either a full or half wall of tile next to the toilet .Then you can use the same treatment on the shower wall next to the window or use glass on the other 2 sides of the shower. The room will look and feel more spacious and light but you will still have plenty of privacy for the toilet. I understand wanting storage but I think if you put a cabinet with a solid wall next to the window you will lose the light and only view you have in the room. Actually if you do 2 sides of glass and a solid wall of tile next to the toilet it will give you an entire wall to put all of your plumbing with easy access from the toilet side if you have a problem. You could to half tile/half glass wall on the sides of the shower and build the 1 foot wide cabinet on the side of the shower near the window and same on the side near the toilet. But I always worry about leaks with half tile/half glass. Would probably prefer the 2 sided glass and 2 solid tile walls and optimize storage in the vanity. Or build the wall near the toilet thicker and add storage near the toilet if you feel you need. Hope you can follow my jibberish above!!

I love the lighting. the shower curtain was in one color but of course it’s hard to know if a fabric color online will be the same. the seatch does come in the lighter color you saw, Design Interior South, but it looks so washed out. mom wondering if it was a bad sample and I thought of calling them ...the shower curtain isn’t the best for the spot and I haven’t used it so I may pack it up and send it back. I had just hung it for photos. Plus the linen material isn’t practical for that bathroom .. but the style is so cute. no I did not price that out yet but plan to.!!! i like your taste Design Intetior South!! Thank you Home Chef!!
