Help! Water leaks out from the bottom of shower glass doors

I had some frameless sliding doors installed, but water leaks out from the bottom. As can be seen in the third photo, there's a little gap under part of the plastic seal/sweep, which is where most of the water gets out (the wall was a little crooked so they had to do the install this way to level the doors).

Any recommendations as to what I can do to stop water from getting out? Is it just a matter of getting different plastic seals for the bottom of the doors? Or do I need to have some type of different rail or threshold installed underneath the doors?

I am no longer in contact with the original installer so having him come fix it is not an option.

What is the name of the manufacturer of the doors? That is the first place I would begin to find an answer. Do both panels slide?

I have a shower with no curb -- it's designed to be a roll-in. There is a vinyl sweep on the bottom of the door, and there is absolutely no problem with water. On one side of the door we have 3" tiles (the inside the shower part) and on the other 12" tiles (the rest of the bathroom floor). You don't need a chrome strip. All it will do is get grungy. As for French doors, that's fine, if you want to spend the extra money. We have one door.

I realize this is an old post but I'm having the same problem. The refrigerator is located at a summer place, and this problem has been going on for 2 years now! The refrigerator was shut off for winter but sat in freezing temps I'm sure! It's been a cold winter in MD. Before we winterized the place last fall, we tried to blow out the line to see if it was clogged. It didn't seem to be yet water still pools on the bottom. The floor is not level but didn't think that would be an issue as it actually leans back, not forward. Any hints or suggestions? It is so hard to get any repair work done at the beach. No one is reliable!

I knew this was a Fischer Home as soon as I seen it lol. I know this is an older thread, but thought id put my 2 cents in in case someone else cones across it. The material on the outside of the house is a structual weather barrier. Not only is it water resitant, it also holds a slight R-value, helping to insualte it slightly. There is manufacturer's specs on the install, that is also inspected by the building inspector prior to being covered in siding. It must be stapled in a certain pattern, or will fail the framing inspection. I actually subcontract for Fischer, and have talked to more than one inspector about this product. They say its a better alternative to OSB. Hope things are going well, and you’re still enjoying your home.

The diagram for installing a shower pan won't discuss waterproofing - it will just show the install of their pan.. Are you able to access inside the wall where the waterlines are for the shower faucet?? The whole time you are assuming it is the pan and it very well could be a leak in the pipes. If there is no water leaking when the shower is off, then it could be in the lines from the valve to the showerhead or handheld. Goodness - I hope you find it before having to just tear everything out...

Why didn’t they fill the gap with silicone sealer?

I think they didn't fill the gap with silicone because both doors slide open and closed.

Should there have been a track all the way across, for the door to slide in. Appears there is one on the other side.

No there is not a full width track as this is a frameless door. They typically just use the small pieces of track as a guide to minimize the amount of metal. Look for a CRL water deflector/wiper seal for shower doors, These get applied with either clear silicone caulk or VHB tape.
