I really wanted to drop pendants, but I'm not very tall and my husband is over 6' so I went for function over form and these lights offer a very even, flattering light. After searching Kirklands, (thinking I would silver leaf them), RH, and ordering custom made from www.pictureframes.com, I decided to call a local glass fabricator. These are 28 x 44 and cost $105 each. They have picture frame hooks on the back. Mine were made with a bevelled border. The glass people said customers often buy pictures at TJ Maxx, remove the picture, and replace it with a mirror. It's pretty inexpensive to do. You might also like the "Hovan" Mirror from Horchow. I have that in my powder room and just love it. google it, lots of other sites have it as well, and it's always on sale someplace. Let me know what you think. The fixture over the tub had to meet height regulations, and I purchased this as a semi-flush mount. This model also converted to a hanging fixture, and I only used a few links since the ceiling was high enough to allow it to be hung that way. It was from Bellacor, about $330 with free shipping, and I think I may have had a 10% promo code. The accent tiles are an opalescent translucent, and while they are not as green as they look in the photo, they can look a little green in some light. I never thought of going with a higher piece in the bath, but I think it could use the height. That Ballard piece could be just the thing... Annie you are so observant! So far I've just been hanging the towels on the shower door towel bar, but that 's a great idea! "Floating" is the perfect description, and the bars would create an anchor and a nice vignette. I could even still fit another piece like a small chest or the etagere there. I'm going on Etsy and Ebay to see if I can find some towel bars with crystal. I have never seen those Delia shades before. They are remarkable! I'm not sure if they will offer enough privacy for the bathroom (I emailed them and await a response) but I will sure remember these for my kitchen. I love the Tulip Arabesque. Stunning! The duettes and silhouettes are so simple and easy peasy. I could do that online. Would you just leave them or put a valence up? aktillery would you suggest traditional bath mats or something else? I have some simple white cotton rectangles, but they just look so scattered...maybe it's just because the room looks so unfinished? Great start Nancy !!!! The rug is NOT to big !! Looks great, def. see some color added tho, what colors do you like is really the question. You can do almost anything. Can you face the couch toward the fp, and flank the 2 chairs with side and perhaps the club chair next to the pf wit a small table? you only know if you try it. One larger brighter piece over the fp will make it appear larger and of course brighter. If you leave the 2 chairs in front of the fp, try a small round table in-between otherwise they look disconnected. Hope this helps a bit, have fun, good luck, best, Debra

Thanks Beverly for the suggestions. I’m gonna try moving the table the other way. The light fixture was definitely a mistake size wise but were kinda stuck with it now unless I find someplace else for it in my house and get a new one for there. What’s even more frustrating about it is there is no option to make it lower than that height either. I’m going to go today to look for some things and will try to focus on rounds as opposed to squares I see what you mean. The pillows are from home sense which is actually a new chain from tjmax and Marshall’s. It’s a great store I found a lot of awesome things there! Anybody have any advice re drapes?
