These poor things have been in this pot about 6yrs now. I'm amazed they are still alive! they are a little on the yellow side too.

Anxious to get them out of this tiny pot and into a better container!

I'm no expert by any means and it may not be 'Ladyfinger'.

There are so many varieties of this plant and your specimen may not be in it's best form.

Looks like you’ve got more Echinocereus grusonii🙂. Yours don’t quite look “normal” and I think it comes down to they‘re just not very happy. When small these golden barrels usually are solitary and don’t pup till mature, but I think your cacti are probably older than they look. I’ve also noticed sometimes when succulents aren’t living their best life they will do weird things😉.

I would repot and give them some fertilizer in a couple wks or whenever the lows are consistently staying above 45F. I use Osmacote and it works well.

Your Mammillaria elongata I’m pretty sure is the ‘Copper King’ cultivar.

I personally don’t like cactus combo pots because I find one will always suffer. Succulents like Echeveria, Graptopetalum, and Sedums do great together in pots because most of them like similar conditions, but imo cactus aren’t really like that.

I use to put cactus together in communal pots, but they never really thrived for me. They do better in their own individual pot. I have one combo cactus pot left from a few yrs ago and they’re all doing just ok, but I know if they were by themselves they would be much happier and farther along in their growth. BUT they’re your plants and do what makes you happy🙂.

Don’t even get me started on cactus and succulents together in arrangements.

They are pretty, but at least one will suffer in a couple months time.

I have to keep myself in check because not everybody has plants for the same reason as I do. Some people get them and enjoy them for a little bit and then on to the next.

But I grow them because I want them to grow old with me. I want senior citizen succulents when I’m a senior citizen🌵.
