No! It means you just didn't have a noticeable reaction. I've read that you shouldn't put stock into the effectiveness of your vaccine based on whether you have a reaction or not. I have Kaiser healthcare and have been more than impressed with their handling of this. They had vaccines available before anyone else in my area and made our 2nd appts when we booked our 1st. Other major vaccine sites have been canceling 2nd appts because of lack of vaccine, so I was concerned that Kaiser might do the same. But they didn't. I guess they must have ordered enough vaccine in the beginning to ensure 2nd shots and just stored it themselves. IDK, but I am grateful for their forethought. Atlantic article about vaccines

This article seems to cover the differences quite well. I was surprised by this paragraph. Each dose of Pfizer’s contains 30 micrograms of vaccine. Moderna went with a much larger dose of vaccine, 100 micrograms. It means the company is using a little more than three times as much vaccine per person as Pfizer is. And yet, they aren’t getting better results. My husband received his first pfizer shot on Saturday. Sore arm at injection site, but other than that, he was fine. Not sure exactly when he will get dose #2. I am 61 and have 0 underlying health conditions and no longer work so I'm at the bottom of the list for getting my vaccination. And everyone and their dog is yelling at the provincial government because they work with the public and want theirs now. Basically what they're saying is, "I'm more important than the guy over there". Even though YES, you're a firefighter, but a teacher is also important, and so is that cashier. Either way for me, I'm in no rush. I'll wait patiently. I do want the pfizer one as well, which is why we chose the pharmacy I used to work in: it's all they have. Now I need to read through the comments because it sounds like someone with a tin foil hat was giving her opinions? This should make for some good reading..
