Has Anyone Used A Recent Husqvarna Snowblower?
Comments (8)I bought a Husqvarna in February ,2013. It wouldn't back up or go forward for about ten minutes from the get go. After two snow storms it didn't seem to be throwing snow and a little vibration. In Dec. 2013 I started it up preparing for winter. Never actually used it until end of January 2014. First snow storm, it took 10 to 15 min to get it in motion. After an hour there was no moving forward or reverse. Shut it off and there was transmission fluid all over the snow. Bolts backed out of the transmission. Dealer replaced trans. gasket. Checked the vibration and said there was nothing wrong. Got it home, still had to wait for it to warm up Dealer said it was because it was an roto-static trans. I made a few adjustments on the cables. Finally after contacting Husqvarna and heated discussion, they agreed to have a look at it. I never heard from them again. However, in Feb. 2015, the dealer put new bushings after I showed him the auger assembly was moving up and down. I t worked a little better, but there was still play in the auger. In Dec. 2016,There was still too much play in the auger. I took it to another Husqvarna dealer. He replaced the gear case and pulley. Put a new impeller. He also told me I needed a new transmission gasket. He also tuned it up for the winter...$583.67. Used it one time, Bolts all backed out of trans. Jan, 2017, I went out and bought a cheap little 24" Yard Works. The original dealer had my Husqvarna for over a month. I use the Yard Works while the Husqvarna warms up. It's Jan 1, 2018, I noticed transmission fluid. Had to tighten all the bolts, on the Husqvarna. I would never recommend Husqvarna. There is absolutely no play in the little Yard Works gear case assembly, it performs ten times better than the Husqvarna. I had an old craftsman or MTD for 12 years, with no problems, not so much as a spark plug replaced....See MoreQuestion for anyone who has ordered from Kitchen Krafts recently
Comments (9)I think your postmaster is misinformed. From the USPS FAQ: Using Express Mail service or Priority Mail service envelopes for other mail If any Express Mail service or Priority Mail service packaging or packaging supplies e.g., Priority Mail tape to seal a Parcel Post package, are used on any other class of mail, the applicable Express Mail or Priority Mail price will be charged. * Misuse may be a violation of federal law. * Turning the packaging inside out to conceal the Priority Mail / Express Mail insignia is specific misuse that is not allowed. Any matter mailed in these free boxes is charged the appropriate Express Mail or Priority Mail price, regardless of how the packaging is reconfigured (including being turned inside out, cut, shrunk, enlarged, etc.) or how the markings are obliterated. Mail dropped in a Collection Box receptacle using inappropriate packaging (including, for example, mailing Priority Mail items in an Express Mail box) is either: * Sent on as insufficient postage mail OR * Returned to the sender Treatment of this mail is based on the specific case as decided by the Post Office facility handling the mailpiece. NOTE: The USPS provides some packaging and supplies free of charge for: * Priority Mail (Domestic) items * Express Mail (Domestic) items * Priority Mail International items * Express Mail International (EMI) items * Global Express Guaranteed (GXG) items Back to Top Using boxes that are ordered at The Postal Store for other uses The terms of Agreement for the use of United States Postal Service shipping supplies is as follows: I understand that Express Mail service, Priority Mail service, Global Express Guaranteed, Express Mail International and Priority Mail International packaging is the property of the United States Postal Service and is provided solely for sending Express Mail, Priority Mail, Global Express Guaranteed, Express Mail International and Priority Mail International. Comments (1)The doors are the most expensive part of a cabinet. There’s nothing actually wrong with those doors. They’re fine with a new coat of paint. It’s the old cabinets underneath the doors that have issues. And the layout. The layout is really poor. Save your money until you’re ready to tackle a more involved redo. As in replace and rearrange it all. IKEA is a good budget choice if you want to be handy and DIY. As much as possible. Start planning that redo now now. Putting money into that without actually fixing the problems is lipstick on the proverbial pig....See More- 3 years ago
