Need ideas for Bathroom style
I am going to have a partial remodel for our tiny bathroom to turn the shower stall to a tile shower. Since we decide to keep the other part of the bathroom, now I am having a difficult time to choose a right style to match the brown/gray bathroom tile and the grey wall paint.
Here are the picture of my bath, would love to hear your advices.

3 years agoHi Liz, unfortunately both the wall on the right of the shower and the wall on the back of the shower are part of kitchen walls. I also attached out kitchen design for your reference. The column on the left upper corner is the other side of shower.

Comments (15)If you will be using the area every day and the vanity is the main storage cabinet, by all means go with the Kraftmaid. Bending all the way down to get into those sliding doors would get old, quick. Pull-out shelves inside would make it much better, though. KM has a few darker glazed finishes that are very rich looking. We went with the white foil with beadboard in the kids bath and even though I don't use them on a daily basis, I LOVE them! We upgraded to the soft close and every drawer opens completely -- no more digging around the back for things. We changed the false front drawers under the sinks to tilt-out's with full stainless steel baskets... those fit toothbrushes, floss, toothpaste and much more. If you have great knobs and/or pulls, some people seem to notice those and not the cabinet themselves. Comments (19)The "regular" bath layout that jensbride posted first is very similar to what our DD & DS shared for years and worked very well. The door, however, was a pocket style and placed directly across from the toilet. This allowed the vanity to be scooted around the corner to take up the whole wall. It leaves the toilet close to the tub, but with lots of elbow room. Comments (10)@kloikith OMG I had to double check this post. This is my same bathroom!!! I thought my husband had posted this lol! We don't have the wall paper. PO painted the wall white, but the layout, the tile, the toothbrush and soap dish holder, towel bar, shower door and medicine cabinet are exactly like my bathroom! The white paint tones it down some. To me against the white walls teh tiles appear pinkish brown ad reddish brown. I'd recommend just an off-white or white. It brightens it up and feels a little bigger. Comments (1)I would put recessed in, once you remove the soffit for the florescent the ceiling will get a bit higher. That being said what other lighting is in this room? (no to pendant lights ps) Another option which may work is to go with a smaller mirror and add to sconces to the sides, or go with a full wall mirror and mount the sconces too it. 3 years agomy boyfriend and I like a black wall tile, inspired by there houzz pictures. but we got advices that dark color would make it small and may not look good with the floor and wall outside. So we are very lost now.

3 years agoThis is my shower stall— my shower floor is the same stone as the nook. A stone could tie in the brown too?

3 years agoYes, for the shower tile. I also did wall paper and a mural in my powder room and it transformed the space..., could add a bit of fun and take your eye away from the floor.

3 years agothank you Liz. I was playing around the virtual view from the website for the tile. It always failed to paint my wall with the shower head lol. I agree with you that I need something with a brown effect. The product you recommend does it. We will look into this direction. Btw, Your bath room looks nice. I like the lighting as well.
