Why painting the doors and trim? What color? Pictures of the whole house? What other colors are in the home? Kitchen and bath fixtures, etc.?

Doors will be white. Kitchen has black cabinets with gold handles, house is transitional in style with some modern touches.

Your current handles are ADA style levers more often seen in a commercial setting. You have so many options, just starting with knobs or levers! I prefer emtek knobs- good quality solid metal. Maybe just start there and see if anything grabs you? My last house I had their chrome lever, this house I have glass disks with metal backs, my office had white porcelain with unlaquered brass.

I’d wait until the doors are painted, as they will feel very different. Will you be changing the hinges, as that’s important. Once the metal is decided, then consider the size and shape.
