A warm white is universally beautiful and will bring this somewhat dated home into the present/future. For sure, lose all the ivy/plants/nicnacs on top of the kitchen counters..and the green walls. A dark brown island would blend in better than the gray you have now. Lose the chair rails in the rooms that have them. Do those things, then stand back and reassess.

With your current rug, another color for you to sample is BM Bleeker Beige. Have you considered the warm whites at all? Such as BM Ballet White and Swiss Coffee.

You don't want to hear it, but you need to paint the garage doors the same color as the body of the house. That dark brown door is dominating whatever decision you make. It looms over everything else. Find a color that is close to the color of the brick. Paint everything with that color, including the garage door. Of the three colors illustrated, I like the top color. It's pretty close to the brick color. When you change the front door out, you can paint or stain it another color. Use as few colors as possible. This is not a painted lady Victorian. Three colors are the maximum and the brick counts as a color.

I paired sw ivoire with eaglet beige and antique white. I also will have a paneled accent wall that will be sw real red. I know I want my bedroom. To be ivoire because I don't want to much light. I wanted to do my foyer the ivoire too then living room and kitchen a lighter color. I don't know. That is my tile that will be used in kitchen and bathrooms.
