Forgot to add: Revere Pewter gives off a green hue in our living area so unfortunately that color cannot be used.

SW7036 - Accessible Beige is my go-to greige.

These colours sit further clockwise on the colour wheel from Revere Pewter (see Hue) They have the potential to be less inclined to show green than Revere Pewter, but obviously would need careful testing in your space.

(Board x 2 coats rather than on the walls - you need the flexibility to see them in both light & shadow.)

IMO no beige at all will work with that kitchen wall color .I aslo would like to see your space before even beginning to guess about wall color and I sure would not let a color you don’t like dictate all the other choices. IMO beige is not neutral and often has a skin type tone which IMO is very unattractive. BN suggests Silver Strand so maybe get a test can and some poster board and see it that works Trying paint on the walls doen not work. Also all the lighting should be the same everywhere when testing paint color I like LEDs 4000K to mimic bright sunlight.

😆 Everyone/anyone can have a legitimate opinion on what they like or don’t.

But degrees of neutrality in paint colours are measurable, comparable, matters of fact.

I only have SW6073 perfect greige in my small bathrooms, looks taupe from vanity lights, but grey in natural sunlight. The rest of my house is BN 983 smokey taupe which looks white in bright sunlight and other beautiful shades with lighting, I love it. I have warm tones in my house with natural red oak floors and hickory trim stained nutmeg/maple harvest. Also with ceiling white. Painters will stick with one brand, but can do crossover color matching of course.

In regards to Greige:

I think you first have to decide on the undertone - brown, blue, green, pink, yellow and paint consultant would steer you. You should test a few in your space, as natural and artificial lighting will make a big difference.

My open plan rambler is painted BM Pashmina as shown on Maureen’s example. Darker than some suggested but with enough light, it’s a nice color.
