Warm wood floor, cool paint?

I am starting to narrow down white paint for living areas (bedrooms and baths will have color). The living and family rooms are not open concept, but do have wide openings so they flow together somewhat. If the hardwood floor is warm (red or white oak), should the walls be a cool white? Decorating is underway and so far includes indigo and teal furniture, warm MCM woods, some silver and glass, and a vintage rug that mixes well with the floor and furniture and has touches of blues, greens, teal, and reds. Dining room is separate and has a gold and white MCM-ish chandelier to be installed. All the walls are currently a creamy white which is too warm/yellow for my taste. I’d like to get samples of whites that feel modern without being stark, but not gray or yellow. Can anyone recommend some samples to try? Preferably BM, SW, or a good quality budget brand. Thank you!
