I've been retired for about 1 1/2 yrs. I worked an evening shift when I worked (3 pm to 11 pm) then had to "unwind" before going to bed about 12 or 1 am. Now -- I find I am a morning person - get up about 6:30 or 7:00, and yes, I do have a somewhat routine that just established itself, but I feel more at ease if there IS a routine (not schedule!). I put on coffee, clean up the kitchen, feed the animals, read the paper, and, because quilting is a major hobby with me, and I'm more productive in the morning, I spend mornings doing more active things, sewing, cleaning, shopping, yard work, etc. etc. I am a little surprised at how busy I find my days sometimes, and wonder how I did everything when I did work. Also - I find I'm cleaning and keeping up the house a little more than I did before - I'm definitely not a "neat freak" but just do like a fairly orderly, clean environment. I'm absolutely loving retirement - I think it is the chance to choose and control how my days' activities go, and I didn't have that before. DH is still working, but I'm pushing him to retire next summer when he turns 65.

I did an Internet search and got differing opinions. I suppose it depends on how your rabbit is kept, outside or inside. Best plan would be a simple phone call to your vet to ask. If you don’t have a vet, ask friends or neighbors for recommendations. Some vets see only dogs and cats, so they may refer you to another vet who sees rabbits.

When I got my 1st dose on Friday, I was given information about the CDC's app for reporting side effects, called V-safe. As part of this, the CDC will contact you via the app to ask how you are, any problems, any illness. I hope that any of you who have had side effects (I had a rash the next day, that lasted about 16 hours) have downloaded it and are participating. This is how we can help to know just how effective the vaccines are as well as the issues people are having with them.

I read a medical article which said whichever arm you get the shot, immediately after, move that arm, lift something which weighs a pound or more. Keep moving it. The vaccine, or any shot given in a muscle will sit there unless you work that arm immediately to push the vaccine out to the blood stream. If you do nothing, it sits in the muscle and causes irritation, inflammation which slows down the process of getting the vaccine out of the muscle. The only way to get it out is to keep bending your elbow, lift something at least a pound up and down. Move the arm and move the vaccine out to the blood stream from the muscle. I had my first shot (Moderna) had to wait 15 minutes after, spent the time bending my elbow and lifting my pocketbook (which probably weights a few pounds), up and down for the whole time I waited. I had no soreness at all. Nothing! No side effects from the vaccine at all. Jane
