Comments (3)I'm not surprised you crashed as you were keeping quite a pace going. Enjoy the cruise and come back with fresh new eyes and perhaps some artwork to put on your shelves/walls. I'm so sorry you damaged your new table. That must've been so frustrating, but glad to hear you can order a new top....See MoreCeiling mounted light in bedroom or just lamps
Comments (22)We actually lived for years with a ceiling light that not only reminded us unpleasantly whenever we forgot to turn it off before hopping in bed, but which also failed to put adequate light where we did need it. No. We fixed that problem in this house. No unnecessary ceiling clutter. No wincing eye abuse. Now, as a vehicle for crystals or other mobile art, that would be different. OTOH, since we like to read and sometimes just relax and chat in bed, bedside lamps, pretty ones of course, are absolutely necessary to us. BTW, although there are lamps in a couple other places, we did connect the wall switch to my husband's side so it could be turned off from bed. Simple, works great, definitely recommend it....See Morewhich lamp works better in the master bedroom?

I wasn't sure if you were thinking the white one was too white (when you commented to post with the new bed spread)....See MoreWall mounted or table lamps in master bedroom?
Comments (8)Guess I'm just curious if there are any downsides other than the question of what happens if you end up moving the bed or using the room in a different way. I have always love this look but my DH seems to be drawn to table lamps. We won't have much room for side tables in this master bedroom, so I figure installing wall mounted lamps makes more sense in that regard....See MoreMGdecor
