What color accent chairs would you pair with this taupe velvet sofa?

Walls are SW gossamer veil and floors are a light oak but a little more on the cooler side. Kitchen is white and rustic gray brown. Open concept living area. Also have a gray fireplace.

I am so excited about the Jason Wu line for interior define and I want someone to buy something. This chair is Palomino, leather, and I think the color will be gorgeous with your sofa, the gray walls and fireplace.

Lovesummer, your room is really pretty. You have mixed the green and beige very nicely. Thanks to everyone for the reassurance about the green sofa. I can't believe I might be abandoning my "beige" living room that I had planned for the past year, but I have to say I really love the green. I know I may grow tired of it in a few years, but that could happen with beige as well. The beige could also look dirty in a few years, not from that much use - living room not used much, but from my two dogs who like to rub themselves along furniture. I know I'm rationalizing. I am going to post another thread today with a couple difference fabric choices I have picked out for 2 accent chairs. Hope I get alot of help again!

Patty, I haven't been able to find anything. The chair will be in front of a stenciled wall, so between the rug, stencil, and pillows, I think there will be enough pattern. I'm not against the idea, just haven't found anything. les, I wondering about that since the chair and tv stand will be right next to each other. The walls will be BM white dove. One wall will be stenciled with BM river reflections. At least that's the plan right now. I'm so indecisive about this room; I'm sure you guys can't wait until this room is done :) I'll definately wait until everything is in there before I pain the tv console. I don't think you necessarily have to go neutral, but I think keeping the rug to one dominant color (could be tone-on-tone, not suggesting a solid) or one color plus a neutral (blue and cream, magenta and gray).
