We just laid the floors so I haven't brought everything back in yet and arranged. I wanted to get rugs first to prevent scratching. I don't really have a lot of furniture yet though. I am going to replace the green curtains. I did get that shag rug but It looks too yellow with the TV stand so I'm going to move it to the baby's room.

I got the chairs at steinhafels last year. I don't really know the fabric.

I just got this rug from shades of light and I love it. Maybe the patterns are too similar? IDK but if I could find a chair like that I sure would try it in my room.

I love your chairs. Annztoo's suggestion is a good one. Would be appropriate with boho and be pretty neutral. Has a nice textural look.

An underdyed persian could work well with the boho feel and the pieces you have. Here's a Wayfair search of kind of what I'm thinking. Something light in color, but with an eclectic pattern.

I do like the sisal. Would you put that in the dining room or the couch area or both. Maybe an underdyed persian in the other area? What color would u focus on, pink or orange possibly?

Rug at least 8x10. Pull sofa back (I know you are still arranging. Have chairs on each side of the TV console or side by side in front of window. Floors are busy & chairs are busy so I suggest a solid rug.

I would keep the sisal rug neutral. The underdyed could have some touches of whatever color you wanted. Orange could work well. Or you could go for lots of color with an overdyed rug like this.

Have you considered a small solid color rug, perhaps an oval one -- just beneath this chair and any ottoman you use with it rather than trying to match your room rug with this chair?

A braided one could be quirky enough to suit your multi-level style.

You might also check with a carpet dealer and get them to hem a rug to the size and shape you need just for that one corner that suits that one chair -- then match your larger room rug to your sofa.

I love all those creamy rugs!!!! Should be easy to find something. I love the company Dash and Albert. They have a ton of choices for your taste (which is very similar to my own!). Try the sale they have some pretty beautiful rugs. They have some very reasonable ones as well. The rug in the photo below you can get a 10x14 for like $600. (not sure you really need that big--with a nice pad it would be great)

Suezbell, I have two of these chairs. The other is just in the basement while we were doing the floors. I do like braided rugs though. That’s what I have in my kitchen.

alyssa I couldn't do cream in my house unless it had a print two boys would ruin that. I love darker rugs but it's all taste really. Get what you love....looks like you can do that. ;)

I actually have three boys so I understand! My biggest problem is making a final decision. I can never commit. Lol.

A subtle plaid or even stripe would add a new pattern and contrast nicely with the chairs.

The chairs are so cute, and despite the bold colours and pattern are not in-your-face loud. So a more interesting rug will work well and seems to suit your adventurous, eclectic style!

I don't think you necessarily have to go neutral, but I think keeping the rug to one dominant color (could be tone-on-tone, not suggesting a solid) or one color plus a neutral (blue and cream, magenta and gray). An overdyed oriental to match the blue or pink in the chair could work.

I got a jute rug for the living room area and a chindi rug for under the table. The jute was backordered and won't be here till the end of May :(. I'll take a picture once I get it in the space. I've since re-arranged the furniture as well.

I love them!!!! Cant wait to see pics...my knobs for my kitchen are backordered as well...frustrating.
