Comments (3)Any vinyl with a cork underlayment can NOT have extra underpad added. You need a PROPERLY prepared slab (leveled to 1/8" over 10 ft) AND a vapour barrier over concrete. That's all you need. The installer "thinks" this is thin because s/he is used to working with laminate (12mm - 15mm thick). CoreTec is one of the thickest vinyl products on the market. If s/he doesn't know how to install vinyl (or understand vinyl) you may want to look to someone else for help. Comments (5)The supplier may have a outstanding balance with the distributor. It is odd, that they would not send a specific item, unless it is discontinued. It happened to me over ten years ago. Had a order for stair parts with a local supplier. Waited a few weeks for it. I checked in on order, was told another week or so. A week goes by, the supplier had locked their doors and went out of business with no warning.
