LOL then i found out he liked metallica, i was like awesome!! dude way cool!! we did have something in common!! unlike everything else we have in common, right?? LOL tabor totally loves alice cooper!! LOL he's totally a freak!! LOL ok, tomarow i should be getting my seeds in the mail. i am so excited. i think i might grow them on my porch, LOL then it'll be pretty much protected AND it'll be full sun!! LOL and sfg!!! my hubs will think i'm nuts, but ummmm... what's new???? LOL i'm like always nuts anyhow!!! LOL then when my gh is done, i'll grow a bunch of stuff in there, and it's gonna definately be protected!! LOL LOL talla call's the males from the 80's she's, ROFL!!! its so funny!! so hubs had to tell her that they were he's!! LOL Hee Hee she thinks only girls have long hair!!! LOL **just chuckling** i am definately tired!! geeze!! to much capicino!! i knew they were bad for me!! hubs just got me started back on them again, Bad medo!! Bad Medo!!! No More!!! weather.com shows 2.68 inches at Midlothian airport, but my gauge shows 4". It's nearly all gone from my yard now, just the low spot in my driveway has a puddle. We took the gutters down to paint and the water ran down the valley by the front porch and filled the flower beds instantly. We got a LOT of rain. I was afraid to do laundry yesterday in case the septic lines couldn't get rid of the water but today I did a load with no problem. I had noticed some big cracks in the yard Wednesday and they are all gone today. I hope the next deluge hits the rest of you and we just get a nice little shower.

I've been a member for years. I mostly just read. I'm a mom of three, work part time, and I'm a musician on the side for fun. I'm quiet in a large crowd, fairly anxious in general, my friends call me chop chop, and I have a very healthy sense of humor. I'm also quite opinionated. I like coming here because sometimes I just want my own personal water cooler - I'm quite entertained at times here! :P

It is true. But note the keywords...may contain spores of Bacillus cereus, ...some uncooked rice can survive when rice is cooked...'may', 'some', 'can'. It is the length of time in a zone of certain temps where the bacteria, if it exists, will multiply rapidly. Some copy writers know allot about nothing or very little about many things. Copy/pasting, parroting something written, then using 'click-bait' for on-line hits. "Your rice just might kill you!". Our systems deal easily with daily bacteria if active and healthy. I would just bank the knowledge and keep it in mind if an elderly neighbor or family member is not feeling well. Or a grandchild curls up on the couch with a fever. Rice is thought of as a comfort food. Just make them a fresh bowl if rice sounds good to them. Their systems are already taxed/compromised fighting off whatever they are suffering from. I make a mixed grain and often a bean every weekend. When done I take out what I plan to keep for the next day in a glass bowl and toss in a couple ice cubes to help chill it down, then fridge or freeze within the hour. Set stews and stocks in a second bowl of ice to chill quickly... Only an average of 10-15% of chickens cary salmonella buy why roll the dice. Or that baked potato wrapped in foil. (I don't foil wrap potatoes). Potential for illness if sitting out or in a cooler without oxygen room temp. A caterer baked an oven full of foil wrapped potatoes, turned off the oven, then made potato salad the next day. Sickened an entire party. Serve food hot, and chill food quickly for later. Or freeze. Or do as you always do with a good rock gut digestive system. Just think twice if serving others. Especially pot-lucks. Health Dept. testing has become easier to find the faulty food.
