Off center fireplace and overhead lighting

Hi, first time poster here. We are building a new home. We opted to push back a wall in our family room one foot to make the room larger. We could not center our fireplace due to structural issues. Now we are at an issue that we have six canned lights overhead and a center ceiling fan; all of which are centered in the new room size. Our dilemma is that our ceiling fan is not centered with our fireplace and TV (which will hang over the fireplace). The ceiling fan is about 6 inches off center and the surrounding can lights are as well. Should we keep the lights and fan centered in the room or move them 6 inches to be centered with the fireplace and TV?
