Fuschia, Cactus, Salpiglossis, Strelitzia, Passiflora, Musa, Dracaena (forget exactly what it is), Lithops and a Succulent.

Are we talking about calatheas, or Aphelandra squarrosa? If it's the latter, increase humidity, make sure it's getting watered right (Wait till it dries out down to an inch, soak soil till it flows out the drainholes. You probably already know this. If it was really potbound, it probably was drying out too fast. See also my early experiences with a Blechnum gibbum I got), and check for things like scale or whitefly (the latter in particular can be hard to spot). It's probably the potboundedness making the soil not be moist enough, though.

" I think what I wasn't understanding was whether they meant the second lowest node, absolutely, or the second lowest node that still had a leaf attached. Because in the first case, I'd have a two inch tall leafless trunk, it would seem. Anyway, right. That was the answer I got. Hopefully someone else will elaborate as I've never tried it. I will also note that the reply I got said that they naturally drop leaves on their own as "part of their cycle" (although this can be hastened along by not watering it right constantly or other stressors) so it sounds like they don't have very long-lived leaves anyway.

Hi Randi... I can't help with the plant ID, but I can help with Ebay info. I love to buy plants on ebay. I don't find many of the plants I like in the garden centers near me, and I also find that Ebay sellers are pretty fair in their pricing. I like the sellers that ship additional plants for practically no extra shipping charge. I actually bought a hoya which was nice and well established, and it was shipped in the pot, and I paid around $5 for it and $7.50 for shipping....that alone is a good deal...but I also bought additional plants, which were also $5 each and only 50 cents for shipping each. To me, that's a great deal. Let me get to my point. I've bought from Hirtsgardens (if that's which buyer you're referring to...that's the only one I found with that plant name you gave). They sold me a Saxifraga Stolonifera, also called "strawberry begonia", and it was shipped very well and the plant is gorgeous. The only thing I would warn you of is that you most likely won't be getting the plant in the picture. I got a pretty young plant compared to the one in the picture, but it now looks even better than the pic! My advice is to just ask the seller the questions you have...I'm sure they'll answer you. If not, then you don't want to buy from them anyway. Good luck, Gabi
