We did a lot of neutral with it. He has bamboo floors, and most of his furniture is dark brown leather or wood. We added pops of red all over (pillows, blankets, rugs, some draperies) and it feels very masculine and has a slight nautical style to it. I think your ideas are spot on with how I would use the color in my own bedroom. I'm picturing what you're describing as something very light and clean, with a kind of soft feeling to it. I'm totally into the vintage looking rugs right now. I really like the Hampton Blue. I was out today and noticed a house near mine that has similar color brick to yours and went with blue siding. They also went with a slightly darker blue door (like navy) and I think it looks great.

I think I would just use the colors of the brick and stone for the siding I see the blue quite clearly on the gables , such a weird choice for roof color but oh well . I think I might add some blue landscaping to bring the roof into the picture since it is there and not going anywhere. A nice walkway from the street to take your eye to something besides the roof.

So, do you have to use these? can you choose any other company? (Like Hardie?) And will you be using any stone accents (like I showed in one of my other pics) or any type of real wood (for posts or garage, etc) ? I like Silver/Graphite, but would need some natural cedar or redwood somewhere to warm up the cool colors ya know, this misty gray color w/this dark red for accent is actually very pretty. The left color combo is more of a misty gray, light gray, and a charcoal I'm afraid if you do more blue, (and it really looks blue in person) then it's just going to appear very blue.
