Batch cook now. Every day. Make your own heat and eat freezer meals. Your temp kitchen setup should use paper plates, and crockpot liners. You’ll hate washing in a bath sink. Fix that.

Beware of overloading the electrical circuit with that many things on it. Use 1 large demand heating appliance at a time. MW or toaster oven. Toaster oven or coffee maker. Think The Money Pit scenes. You don’t want to try to find a working circuit in your nightgown while workers are around. Try to have the fridge on a non GFI circuit. They tend to trip at compressor startup, and you don’t know it until you open the door and the light doesn’t come on.

Plan on a worker convenience station. That means a usable stocked paper goods toilet with easily accessible and visible plunger, and cleaners. Disposable paper hand towels, hand sanitizer, and sanitizing wipes. Everyone wants to be safe and clean for everyone else. Make that easy for them.

Get a couple of extra dishpans. Paper plates. Pack away most of your daily-use tableware and try to keep only what you'll need. Get paper/plastic cups. Just keep out enough cereal bowls, coffee mugs, wine glasses for a day's use, you'll be washing everyday anyway. (Okay 3 days if you insist.) Folding tables will work just fine for the cooking appliances. Consider a portable induction cooktop, too.

Really be brutal about packing away your kitchen. (Good time to throw out stuff, too). You can live without most items, and can always buy a cheap replacement if you forgot a spatula for example. we also left out a couple of drinks glasses for cocktails on the weekends, when we needed it most.

We just went thru this 18 months ago, so it's all still fresh in my mind. Costco has good folding tables.

Oh wow Celadon - I never thought about the power issue, especially about the fridge. That’s super helpful. I’ve been debating about the bathroom thing so that’s helpful too. We have three - one is part of the remodel, and we are thinking one will be only for people working in the house and one for us only. I’ve been debating with myself whether it is rude to expect them to clean their bathroom (I would supply everything of course). I feel like we shouldn’t have to clean it, but it feels like an odd expectation to have them do it. Your post is reassuring and makes me feel more comfortable expecting them to care for the space they are using.

Short circuited somewhat by having all cleaning things visible. Remember that contractor “broom clean” standards aren’t your white glove standards for construction dust and dirt. They won’t be for a bathroom either. But they won’t get to men’s room at a gas station standards.

They're removing your current kitchen cabinets and countertops? Have the contractor remove a couple of base cabinets and one countertop and put them in the bedroom for you to use.

Adding a cheap induction burner will greatly expand your meal options. Mine was about $55.

Holy cow @seabornman... I never thought of that! I am having counters and cabinets removed by Habitat for Humanity for reselling. But I do have one single base cabinet and countertop that are separate from the rest I could keep that would be perfect! Thanks - I will definitely do this!

Thank you sandk - my sister offered to loan me a microwave that has a built in induction burner on top. I was debating whether or not to bother, but maybe I should. I currently cook on gas - do I need special cookware to use an induction burner?

You need something a magnet will stick to. I use stainless and cast iron.

The remodel will go until the end of Jan in upstate NY, so I don’t have the ability to use the outdoors for food prep or cooking

Buy a dishpan you can set next to the sink for easier washing. You could also switch out your current bathroom faucet for a high-rise faucet to make washing up easier.

Make plans now for your holiday meals -- whether it's cooking ahead, getting takeout, getting family/friends to drop of meals, etc.

Electric kettle, electric frying pan.

Stock up on aluminum foil, paper towels, plastic bags, disposable dishes/cutlery, your favorite beverage(s). Before washing any dishes or pans, wipe off all fat/grease and food bits with paper towel and discard the paper towel. Don't risk clogging your bathroom sink.

Plus it keeps everyone safer, them and you, to have them clean their own space. Unless you or your contractor are providing a porta-potty on site.

I went without a kitchen for 10 weeks as well (with 2 teens). We also did the tabletop microwave and toaster oven (also a coffee machine of course). Set it up in the upstairs hallway, it worked out fine. Yeah it was a little annoying but we made do. Ate a lot of take out during this time, also sandwiches and easy stuff from the grocery. We had a garage fridge so I can’t comment on that.

Oh and paper plates, forks and cups, we had a bathroom sink to wash things but I tried not to do Thad because if was way too much.

We did this last year with a 9 & 10 year old. We moved our kitchen table into our family room and used that for the coffee pot, toaster, microwave and breakfast. We ate lunch / dinner in the formal dining room. Stock up on paper goods. Agree with @User and start batch cooking. You can definitely grill in winter, I have two sisters-in-law who live in Albany suburbs and grill through winter. Just wear a coat! :)

I washed a crockpot in a seldom used tub and then just made sure to clean the tub afterwards. Not ideal, but everything was clean. You will be fine!

I agree with megs1030. We live in New Hampshire and cook outside on our gas grill all year round. A dinner of grilled chicken/meat/fish/vegetables in the middle of winter helps me look forward to spring. I love a grilled endive and radicchio salad too.

I can't understand why you aren't planning to use your crockpot! That would be my number one go-to appliance in your situation. Cook once and eat if for three days for two people. Do you have a laundry tub you can use for dishes? And, yes to paper plates and cups as much as possible.

I went through this last year with 5 of us living in the house including my two year grandson. We put a folding table in the living room with a Kuerig, microwave, toaster and Instant Pot. Stocked up on paper plates, plastic utensils, aluminum foil and foil pans. We use our grill year round right through snow season in NH so we used that as well. We moved our regular fridge to the dining room. We found we used the microwave and toaster very little. Most of what we made were one pot or one pan meals. The grill worked great for baking casserole in aluminum pans.

All of the above, plus I ordered some meals from Factor75. Healthy and pre-cooked. Just have to pop them in the microwave or taster oven. A nice respite from full on cooking in our makeshift kitchen.

Go to your local dollar store and see what they have for dish pans or large plastic totes. Something like this, Sterilite or Rubbermaid (get the sturdiest one they have),

My remodle was only 8 weeks without some way to cook....I moved thre microwave, coffee pot and toaster oven to a card table in the family room. I still had a refrigerator in the basement, but that was inconvenient. did lots of sandwich lunches, juice toast and coffee breakfasts, and even though it was mostly in the winter we grilled sometimes.....and ate out at least 3 times a week.
Salad micro "baked" potato and a grilled steak was a fine fine dinner!!
However Iw as only a few days without a sink and a dishwasher. Good luck to ya!
