window treatment advice/opinion please

Since everyone here is so helpful I was looking for advice on what curtains etc to use for my bathroom remodel. I don’t really want to drill holes on the tile or ceiling. And I want something to match the style/vibe Im going for. Who does these type of things I love in Florida and done know if there’s companies who actually do window treatments or if they give design ideas or execute your idea? I was thinking chiffon material very French/vintage. But honestly not sure where to go with colors design or look and functionality. Thank you In advance for your opinion!

Very pretty room--I love the French vibe. Yes, there are designers and companies who sometimes only do window treatments as a specialty. I am sure that you can find a company in your area to do them for you. They may be able to do an "inside mount" if there is room, so that there would be no drilling holes in your wall or ceiling as you mentioned. They will be able to help you with the style, fabric, hardware, etc. Good luck--it will be gorgeous.

To keep the most light and just address the privacy issue you can use shirred fabric on two rods.

I would use the one with the bands in the dining room, for a softer, curvier effect to compliment the chandelier. Have covered buttons in the main fabric on the bands. For the office/den, I would prefer a cleaner line, much as you have now on the two smaller windows - no curves. If you like pleats, perhaps consider something more like this, with the button on the pleats covered in the complimentary fabric. It is the fifth one down, the green and red floral fabric: [box pleated valance with buttons[(https://www.houzz.com/photos/box-pleated-valance-phbr0lbl-bl~l_2499) Also, if it were me I would make the valances longer, and hang them all much closer to the ceiling. I would not use rods, given the number and placement of the windows.

lovely windows!! i would definitely use panels/curtains only where you don't need privacy or sun protection... i love your master bedroom window seat!!! what a great spot that will be! whatever treatment you put there, i would think you would often want to have the entire window visible... do you need privacy at that window? if so, if i hung a shade, i would want it to be able to cinch up tight at the top, like pleated shades do... or i would just hang short panels that could be swept all the way to one side when the window was being used. with your windows, if i hung any type of blind or shade on any of them, i would definitely do inside mounts--your window wood is much too nice for outside mounted blinds/shades...

They do make shads for half rounds, but that wouldn't fit properly in this case. You are going to need to do something a bit "custom" in nature and I would do it out of the same materials that the blinds will be done in (assuming fabric vs. wood).

Having 2" blinds in my living room (2 double windows,and two single windows) I find them easy to clean and easy to regulate the amount of sunlight...my room faces east and south. From outside ,my neighbors think I have shutters and are surprised to see they are blinds. I'd spend my decorating money on something that will really make a difference.

I think that’s a great idea! It looks like tension rods? I wanted it to be pretty and French luxury but I think I may have to go for that since I don’t want holes

Tension rods will likely not work if you have them at the top and bottom. You'll require this hardware. If you use just the small tension rods, once you pull the fabric the rod could pop off the sash.
