If you really wanted to mix I would do the 4 panel and the 1 panel. I don't think the 2 panel would go with the 4 at all because they are both "busy" in a sense. If one was busy (4 panel) and the other more plain (1 panel), I feel it would match better. Personally, I wouldn't mix door styles but it really all depends on personal preference. I went with a 5 panel equal shaker for all my doors. In our bedroom the entrance door is a solid 5 panel shaker but the walk-in closet and ensuite doors are 5 panel shakers with frosted glass. That's about as much mixing and matching that I did. Don't you wish you could borrow doors from the store for a day (like you can with flooring) and see how it would look? I had a hard time deciding between the 3 panel equal shaker and the 5 panel equal shaker. I ended up going with 5 obviously but it was a tough choice, especially not being able to see them in action. Warning - two year old post! @adv1984 - your closet renovation looks amazing - hard to believe it was DIY. You must be an experienced DIYer! My master closet appears to be similar to yours. It’s a little over 7.5’ wide (as currently finished + 5-6‘ of eave space behind current walls) x 18’ deep. While I wouldn’t do the work myself, I’m interested in hearing some details - if you wouldn’t mind sharing. First, what are the dimensions of your closet? Did you build everything or use some sort of system? I know that some people have used somehing like IKEA Pax and customized it (and made it look buil-in). My guess is that you made custom pieces to fit into the space. Is the space along the top separately finished for each set of doors - or - did you frame out one continuous space + add sets of doors to access space? Also, I am very interested in how you finished the space behind your built-ins. It appears that you have eave space that runs along both sides of the closet based upon the access doors behind your hanging bars on each wall ( shown in the second and third photos). Does the eave space run along the entire length of your closet walls? I’m trying to get a feel for how many access doors I would need along 18’ wall (if I want to use the entire 18’ of space under the eaves on each side). How long/deep is the space that can be accessed by each door? Wish you lived near me so I could hire you! Thanks!

The sheers on your window do nothing since you have blinds. I would look for blackout drapes that bring in the color from your bedding. It is a very warm rich color. A color should be repeated in 3 areas of a room to keep your eyes moving around the room not fixated in one area. Sorry to post so many times, I can't add or edit posts from my old iPad.

Maybe something like this? eta: That is a reach-in closet. Also, see if the space can fit a minimum 42-inch wide hallway(s). And, it would be best if the door opens against the wall. . .so, you will probably want to move it over towards the corner if this set-up works. 2nd eta: I just realized that you mentioned that the door cannot face another door. In this case, move it to the wall facing the staircase.
