Bathrooms Design Dilemma Home Decorating

need help picking vanity for powder room

Hi, we are in process of renovating our powder room on the main floor. We installed these tiles above the bath tub and the floors .
We are going to pain the wall light grey .
What color or kind of vanity and mirror would look good here? I’m not sure whether to get dark grey vanity or black or white ?
Any ideas?? Thank you so much!

What was the reason for the accent strip? IMO it seems like an after thought with no plan. You have a tiny space so what vanity are you planning ? I would do a very small wall hung vanity with ma

I like the accent and it’s colors. You could go bold with your vanity and pick up on the blue or blue green color from the tile. Hard to tell exactly what color it is on my phone.

There is no question that the vanity is very traditional, and certainly not simple in its lines. However, I am not one who says everything in the house has to be the same. One nice thing about a powder room is that it can be a 'fun room', a little jewel that offers another feel in the home. So, I think indeed it could work, and be very fun. As for the wall stencil, while it feels more contemporary because of the black and white, the design feels traditional, and could very easily work in the space. In fact, the design of the individual unit in the stencil kind of picks up on the center design of the cabinet door. I would think about adding light fixtures (ceiling if you have one, and over the vanity) that have a modern take on traditional lighting. I love the godmorgan sink for their clever plumbing moving the ptrap to the back so that you can have drawers. I got one but my plumber threw up all over it for the cheap quality of the plastic in the plumbing. He did agree about the design and is building ours with the ptrap in the back so that we can do drawers using better quality stock parts. Mirrors.. I would suggest picking this first as this will drive much tile you need. Have you looked at IKEA mirrors. They are a good price point. Also home goods etc.. Faucet.. Online prices are much better.. Do you like the look of the faucet in the picture? I went with a simple version from a good quality brand for my regular bathrooms with a single lever. For powder room, I also wanted it to be fun and did wall mounted in antique copper.

Thank you all so much!! This is so overwhelming and you all talked me off the ledge. @Jinx the color is called Pewter Green. Thanks for all the pics! I will try some tile with black. @Carrie B Thanks...seems I see it with the black a lot but we really wanted the brushed nickel. I love that advice also! @shirlpp I would need to find the dimensions but it's pretty small. I was thinking of wallpaper! I think I'll choose the tile first, then see about wall paper. @eld6161 Thanks, we've always loved green. Would be fun if it became popular. I will do that Google search.

I would do a very small wall hung vanity in maybe a blue from the tile to tie it in somehow. As for the mirror I like one you have bit I would not do that dark metal in this space go a nice nickel a one piece toilet and something like this for the vanity but painted the dark blue. Take the e shelf away and apint the walls a really pale blue make sure the lighting in also nickel and the bulbs are LEDs in 4000K . I am wondering why a tub in a PR though.

The accent tile colors are blue / turquoise.. the original idea was to have a thin line of that accent tile but the contractor made it thick ! Miscommunication on our part !!! :(
