We have 3 closets in our bedroom and decided to use this one for the TV. We removed the sliding doors and
used bi-folds to increase the size of the opening and then installed a
Sanus TV mount that tilts, turns and can extend 20" from the wall. DH has a comfortable swivel chair at the foot of the bed and it's favorite
place to watch TV or read and it really came in handy when he was
recovering from surgery and couldn't get around.

I took those photos of her closet as we were getting ready to evacuate due to a hurricane, I felt it appropriate to document how much she had. Me, being the gentle man that I am, have barely anything in my closet, nothing worth documenting.

My walk-in pantry. The pull-out-baskets are new as of yesterday....lower right. They hold organic bread baking materials. The brown wooden box, lower right, holds plastic bags I recycle.

My basement. Getting ready to bring in orchids for the winter, hence the lights, water jugs, and the grow-tent. The door you see is for the canning room. That's what the original owners called it, although it's obviously for storing home canned goods, not processing them! The grooves on the floor are to direct the mess if a can explodes.

I hesitate to share, but here it is. Living in a nyc apartment there never is enough living space. When we moved here we bought this bed. It is the BEST! Even though it’s a 3 bedroom, we double this space up. It’s the office during the day and at night it’s our bedroom. We put a sliding door on one doorway and have thick curtains on the other.

Thanks nickel! Yes. “Murphy Style” is what it’s apparently called because it’s another company, but it is so well made. It’s so easy to open and close. I just love getting rid of it during the day and having the space.

My bathroom closet. When a visiting, 4 year old neighbor seemed to be taking too long in my bathroom, I knocked on the door and asked if she was ok. She opened the door and pointed to the closet ( she had opened the door to it) and said "boy, you sure got a lot of band aids in there" She is 14 now....nothing has changed.

Wow, you all are lightweights in the mess department. Annie that is one healthy looking refrigerator. My house is a disaster at the moment due to the desk parts that were delivered ( another story). Anyway, here is my junk drawer.
