Q re: type of Clad (old Hurd Door with photos) & Outswing Door Recs?

Curious what type of Clad (aluminum, vinyl, or ??) this neighbor's door and window is... it holds up well to the elements where we live, and has a nice smooth finish. They weren't the original builder so do not know.

(Tape measure is meaningless to this conversation, was just in the photo as we measured the door and was the only close-up I have.)

And then this door (JeldWen, I think based on the home builder) is also in the neighborhood and wears terribly, it has to be pressure washed every few months and doesn't have the same smooth finish (looks up close like it has to be painted)... is this fiberglass?

Confused what the options look like in person and we are unable to go to a window/door company right now to see in person.

Thanks for any insight.

Edit to add: What company or product would you suggest that would be better than these? We are in humid environment, looking at outswing French doors, all of them open onto deep screened porches so none of them will directly have rain hitting them. Looking at non-impact glass for the doors since the impact glass limits our ability to have narrower stiles (to maximize the glass and view) and affects our ability to have a more flush transition for mobility/health reasons. They will then be boarded up or we will use shutters for insurance, as we are in North Florida and not in a gulf front/Miami-Dade zone. Home will have a clerestory with mechanical windows for passive heating and cooling - those *will* have the impact glass.

That said, just heard from a local window dealer, "If you don’t use impact products, the w&ds still have to meet the required design pressure ratings. The contemporary style non-impact products don’t meet these. That would not satisfy code." Does anyone know how some of the newer gulf builds are getting around this, particularly in contemporary homes?
