Thank you so much for your response! Yes, fortunately, my husband is extremely crafty and can handle the stonework. I have included a photo of the space (before we painted the wall) so you can see the overall layout of the room. I appreciate the idea of putting the TV over where the bar is located, but how would you layout the furniture? We have two large sofas and two reclining chairs. Yes, we are on the same page as far as laying a tile over the existing marble. Thanks again, and I look forward to more suggestions!

I really like the cabinet hardware you proposed. The table is lovely, but are you sure you want more wood in the space? You well may (I would already be at my threshold with what you have already), but it can get tricky balancing multiple stains and colors of wood in the same space. I would want something to provide some counterpoint to the wood, but that's me. The ceiling fan is fine. For the light fixture, I don't care for clear shades in general (though I know they are very popular), and the shape seems more industrial than country/rustic. The rug is about as far from country/rustic as I think you can get. Other than color, I don't see anything about it that suits the space, Braided rugs always seem to me to be the most "country" choice. A natural fiber (jute or sisal, though not if this is for the dining area) would suit the space. And I don't think you could go wrong with a traditional style.

Addressing the window treatment...it looks like the rods are all hung at the same height, which is good. Usually, when installing the rods I use 3" higher than and 3" wider than the window frame. It's not working for your windows. Extend the rods farther. (wall clock gone). Even though the panels are there for color and not privacy, one panel isn't enough....needs to be fuller. No, I think brown isn't right with the rug, too dark and too heavy looking. Revere Pewter likes the color of your sofa and rug, replace the two tables and unmatched lamps with two floor lamps and light toned draperies. Paint the Ballard Design piece Revere Pewter in a semi-gloss. This idea: Fan: not a fan unless you need it. A ceiling light aimed at the art is a suggestion.
