The above suicide does NOT make me smile. In fact, I gasped when I read it!

Whistle, me too.

buccos4vr, in Temple, Texas (where I was born), there was a law that said that it was legal to ride your horse in the saloon. So they had ride-in saloons, I guess.

haha thanks Lars. I couldn't quite figure that one out. Now I get it!

Is there a post from Lars missing? I'm not sure what salonva is referring to...

LOL, Rusty!

Annie, Lars' post (on my screen) is directly above Salonva.

NM.

Rusty, that is hysterical. I thought Buccos referred to the walkers tied to the rail. “Old” West. Old people!

yes, the OLD west.... I totally understand that as I've been watching old westerns. very, very old westerns with actors who are long dead now. It's great seeing those actors in their youth... Clint Walker, Jack Elam, Rory Calhoun, Guy Madison, Andy Devine, Gabby Hayes, Jim Davis (too many to list). and lots of older guys playing old guys even back then!

@Annie - I couldn't see the comment from Lars either. I really had to look for it.
