Cutting into slab foundation for new plumbing

Clint

We are doing a kitchen remodel and want to move our sink out of the island and into the wall counter. Additionally, we are going to put the induction cooktop into the island instead of against the wall where it is now. (i.e., were going to swap the sink and cooktop).

We have a post-tension slab foundation though and my understanding is that it will need to be cut into in order to connect the drainage/plumbing, as well as run new electrical since it will require higher voltage.

I fully intend to use a licensed and knowledgable plumber to do this, but I'm still concerned about what the likely risk is to the foundation over the long run.

Aside from the potential of hitting tension cable, does this type of work often create foundation problems later on that I'd be left paying for? And are there good solutions? Or am I worrying about it too much and just need to make sure the person doing the work is competent and capable?

Thanks!
