Burial mounds

Bottom is plate used for newspaper ads from my grandfather’s business. My DH had it pressed and framed for me when I retired earlier this year.

Annie: Notre Dame North Rose Window? Or maybe the South Rose Window?

I cried when Notre Dame burned--just broke my heart.

I believe it is the West window...it faces the river.

Because there's a section of the statue that's shiny and without the patina of tarnish that covers the rest of it, I'll guess that rubbing that spot where it's shiny for that reason is thought to give good luck or have some other alleged consequence.

(Probably an unintended typo but a statute is another word for a law section)

Edit for PS, many males (especially young adults and younger) would see that practice not as being naughty but rather as being opportunistic.
