Waterproof Basement After Purchase Agreement But Before Inspection?

I am selling my home and have signed a purchase agreement but have not had the inspection yet. There are water marks on walls and floors in the basement from water coming in in the past and cracks are still in walls. I disclosed the marks as a sign of water in the basement on the disclosure forms. Can I fill the cracks and waterproof the walls myself before the home inspection or would that be considered hiding the problem or cause some other issue with the sale?
