I agree that the tumbled doesn't flow with the subway. I think the octagons with the black or white dot would be so classic, never go out of style, plus you can accent with any color. I am wondering if she would always be checking for water on the wood, like I do in my kitchen? The small aqua octagons are really a great look too! I have the 4" white octagons with the black dots, matte finish in my bathroom. The shower is done with a grayish marble look 12 by 18" porcelain rectangles done subway style. Hope she gets settled with a decision. I drive myself crazy sometimes trying to decide what I want.

The one we ended up selecting is the one shown with the leather piece on here. It is about the same darkness as the piece of the sectional we are using as a sofa. The other samples were of the same depth in color. Never felt they were too light, but donâÂÂt want to go much darker. IâÂÂm not a huge fan of dark stuff, but it seems that is all we end up with. The photos might make the colors appear lighter than they are. Anyways it is moot at this point as IâÂÂll need to start over. The price jumped 2.5K as I was reviewing the order and found they hadnâÂÂt included leather as I had requested on the whole frame. That was discussed numerous times and I kept saying the whole frame. Although we could pay that, IâÂÂm not thrilled at going so far over with something IâÂÂm not 100% in love with and also have to wait at least 90 days if not more to get. So will start the search over again, of course with that IâÂÂll probably still not have a sofa 90 days from now.

Well, I went with the single lite, though I appreciate the votes above. I love the craftsman door, but something just didn't seem right in the room. I gave you all way too little information, but the single lite is great (a little disconcerting, since we keep thinking the door has been left open..). Definite improvement over the old door destroyed by dogs. I will post finished kitchen photos at some point in the near future. Wedding is tomorrow: Ceremony is on top of the local ski hill the kids skied on when they were first going together, and the reception is in our yard. Raging thunderstorms expected again today, but lawn is mowed and I will have lots of helpers today to set the tables out. Flowers are blooming (a little tired looking after the rain, but ok), and all is well. Biggest issue this week, other than being completely immersed in a local race last week and weekend, cutting into my garden primping time, is that the basement flooded with all the rain. Just one room, but it is destroyed, so we will need to gut it next week and re-drywall etc. Rain gutters need to be redone to prevent this in the future and carpet is toast. And it looks like a bunkhouse in the main living area, with now THREE blow-up/futon beds in a charming configuration..But no one died, no one is ill, everyone is happy, no major meltdowns, so life is good! Thanks for asking Oldbat2B! Now I am off to spray paint a couple of chairs, the old washtubs my grandmother used to grow geraniums in (and I still do) and touch up of the Pergola. eleanko, the pieces are not welded together yet. I was creating the design on the floor with loose pieces and this feature of the design - where to finish the spikes - was not clear to me ;) and you are correct, I used Photoshop type of program to play around and see which one looks better. Thanks squirrel for your mock-ups. You always give me more food for the thought ;) I will show to DH and see what he thinks. And big thanks for all of you for taking your time to look and reply :)
