Check all the pieces from Coretec before installation! We had a Palo Alto Walnut Coretec floor installed in August. As they were getting ready to install the T-moulding I realized the color was off. Also it was supposed to be skimmed in the same pattern as the planking but wasn't. They didn't install it. The quarter round was also off but similar enough in color that we agreed to keep it. FIVE MONTHS later Coretec informed the installer that Palo Alto Walnut is discontinued and we won't be getting the T-moulding. Back to square one. I am so frustrated. My guess is that they are outsourcing the trim pieces without telling anyone. Someone mentioned that Shaw bought Coretec.

Cnunn: I am so sorry to hear about your flooring issue. I had my kitchen & laundry / bathroom renovated a few years ago, and I kept my Pergo laminate oak look flooring, which was installed years before my kitchen renovation. My Pergo flooring still looks and functions great! Nothing sticks to it, it does not ding or chip. Easy clean up with diluted vinegar and water! Everyone who has seen it swears it is wood. A couple of questions: - For those who have it on an upper level: what is the noise like below? This would be on our second story above my husband's office so I worry a bit about this, especially compared to carpet. - Is it easy to clean? Any issues with vacuum (or a roomba) scratching it? - What about scratching in general? We have a large dog...and young kids who love to push all kinds of things around on the floor :) - Are you generally still happy with your choice? Thank you so much!

We installed 2600 sf of Happy Feet Pinnacle LVP in our new build and am very happy with it. i had read through this group many times prior but decided with grown kids it was more important to us to have a matte look and low maintenance than risk wearing out our socks. I definitely prefer the feel of natural wood under bare feet but this LVP is not wearing out our socks or our bare feet. So far it feels like a great decision. interesting anecdotal observation - when in our old house, which had hardwood throughout, when we laid out various LVP samples and left them there for a week, our dog stated laying on the Happy Feet sample section. Never the other samples. 🤔
