Looking for fabric for I spy quilts

Hi everyone!

I had a request to make a couple I spy quilts and am searching for a few letters of the alphabet I am missing.

Does anyone have two or three 5" squares of fabric with prints that start with???

Q (queens)

W (whales, walrus, watches, watermelons?)

X (x-rays, xylephones)

Z (zebras?)

that they would be willing to trade for something else?

Let me know! Otherwise I will be off to the fabric store.

Sue, I don't have any I Spy fabrics, but I do have a piece of black and white zebra print, about 20"x7.5" that you can have if no one comes up with anything more appropriate. Let me know.

I do. I have 12 full sets of ABC squares. They are 6.5", though. I've never gotten into ABC quilts, but liked shopping for the letters. I have traded or given away several sets.

I also have quail, zipper, watermelon and maybe x-ray fabric. I'd be willing to share.

Are you referring to fabric that has a pattern on it that looks like a quilt or fabric that is sandwiched with batting and backing and quilted together already? Either can be purchased at Joann Fabric stores. Dianne

AAAHHH... I see two of my squares in your quilt!!! I love your quilt. I'm still collecting, one of these days I'll have enough! I love the hot air balloon, I need to find those. I think I have some left over Thomas fabric from another project, having seem yours I need to get the scraps out and see what I can do. You did a nice job, it's a great quilt. Anytime anyone needs I spy fabric (I'm always willing to share, as I have tons.), try 4my3boyz.com. She sells by the fat quarter or larger, and always has a good selection. That way, you don't have to buy so much of one letter/print.

Sue, do you still need anything? I think I have some x-ray fabric, and probably zebra. May have Quarters, too. I'll look tomorrow after work.
