I like the overall color - if it were my house, I'd get an estimate for removing the rock and adding brick (something white-ish to go with the siding) and then add charcoal (same as your door) as your trim color. If you don't want to do the brick, maybe add cedar planks....

Kiimela, it just depends on how white you want the white. Alabaster and greek villa are warmer whites that lean a little yellow. make sure to get some samples and bring them home. I did these three on my home, with the Swiss Coffee (Behr) on my stucco. See how dull the swiss coffee looks against a bright white? But,,, this is how bright the white turned out on the stucco! Also have a rental house w/Swiss Coffee and black trim. (Behr colors) It's a nice combo. consider getting a new front door though. if you must keep yours, paint the entire door and side lites black or red. I'd prob just go w/Pure White if you're picking SW colors, for your place. Paired here w/Hale Navy, both of those would look nice. Or do the charcoal. just do a dark color for the trim against the white

I agree with cat_ky that the house appears to be stained. The color very well ties together your brick and your stone chimneys as well as your brown roof. Your landscaping is also nice. I would put more money into extending the planting beds even more. Get a professional designer to help you do that (and hide your HVAC compressors in back.) Here are multiple Houzz photos of home like yours. Step back from the front of the house quite a bit so we can see the whole setting. It's possible a beautiful stone walkway and a painted entrance doorway would enhance your already wonderful house. What's wrong with it?

Thank you all for the input! @hallettco, I appreciate the run down on what is involved with the trim, I had no idea it was that much work. Since we are at the end of the renovation that started in October, and they've already finished repairing the siding on the back, I don't think it is wise for us to start cutting up the siding! At least I know now to rule that out. It sounds like re: shutters that we should remove them from the horizontal windows and bay window (assuming that the brick looks ok underneath, we shall see). @Patricia Colwell and @houssaon, I'm curious what you mean about the size of the shutters? They are taller than the glass part of the windows, so I'm not sure how much bigger they could get?
