Once again I am having the same problem with these imara impatiens.

They rot out. Fine in the beds, but not always in pots. So now we've had a ton of rain which only made things worse. Anyone familiar with these? Imara was supposed to be the answer to the downy mildew problem of recent years. I don't find these to be as good as those USED to be in pots. These don't spread like the old variety always did. I have trouble with one pot in particular, so can't help but wonder if some residual mildew spores remain in that pot since I've never fully changed the ground that the other (mildew susceptible) impatiens used to be in. Probably time to dump it, clean the pot thoroughly, then try again next year.
