Working to cut weeds - I wrap duct tape around my ankles, because without fail, I seem to get into an ant nest when I do this. I literally end up with ants in my pants! The tape keeps them out:

Out with the old and in with the new. DH downsized his tractor and gained a backhoe and a couple of other implements he ‘needed’. This will soon be put to work as you can see from the pile of new gravel and dirt.

My very sweet former neighbor who is still a good friend made these adorable little coasters for me. She has 2 black labs that are like family.

They have an absorbent center layer.

Tom's SIL quilted these for my cast iron handles. She's always working on a quilt.

Today’s thread has been so much fun. Nice projects to see. And for me, timely with the delivery of our new tractor. DH has been busy all afternoon with his new backhoe, digging stumps, working on improving some drainage. Annie I hope your DH gets his new mower soon.
