Comments (17)Dad was a mechanic. He built a car in the 60’s. He made the body of wood. It was not a comfortable ride, but we kids loved it. He took us for rides around the decommissioned army base in town, Camp Stoneman. Dad took it to the DMV to get it registered and they argued with him about it. They said it was just a cart. 6 years agoWorking to cut weeds - I wrap duct tape around my ankles, because without fail, I seem to get into an ant nest when I do this. I literally end up with ants in my pants! The tape keeps them out:
6 years agoOut with the old and in with the new. DH downsized his tractor and gained a backhoe and a couple of other implements he ‘needed’. This will soon be put to work as you can see from the pile of new gravel and dirt.

6 years agoMy very sweet former neighbor who is still a good friend made these adorable little coasters for me. She has 2 black labs that are like family.
They have an absorbent center layer.
