I would create a "foyer" by floating a 3-seat sofa or a reversible chaise sofa facing the two windows with a flat screen TV on a low credenza. Hang the clock on the wall opposite its present location. Flank the large front window with a pair of fabric armchairs, a new side table and a table lamp. A new rug should be at least 2 feet wider than the new sofa. For proper installation of a dining chandelier, your table will need to sit under the current fixture. Try doing that to see what you can achieve. Do you want to hire an electrician to remedy the offset? You can probably find a paired semi-flush and a pendant or chandy for both your ceiling lights and maybe the kitchen too. Once you find the seating and rug, we can find a new, brighter paint color to really bring this room out of the shade!

Good luck with your new home! Be very careful with gallery walls. They can go wrong very quickly. I see more bad ones that good ones. Instead, I'd choose a very impactful piece of art on the wall where the tv is now. You might have to move the tv/sofa/table to orient more toward the window than the center. I am thinking you'll have about about 90 cm (35") left on each side of the sofa if you center it. If you want end tables, you'll have to shift the entire furniture arrangement toward the window. You want a nice walkway from kitchen, along where tv is now and on to front door.

Good morning Chantelle, I forgot to mention that the black & white daybed in an earlier picture is not an ordinary day bed it is a 2' deep bench with matching cushions and pillows. Congratulations on your first apartment! Option A seems to be the best layout of the three presented. The only issue is that the round table could cramp the space a bit. Another option would be to take your option C and move the sofa back to the end of the wall. Then put a counter high sofa dining table and stools behind the sofa. This may allow enough room for a small chair on each side of the tv, so you would have lots more seating/dining options in a less cramped space. BTW…it looks like there is only space for one stool at the kitchen counter, but if the sofa table comes with 3 stools, one could be placed in the kitchen and the other two could be placed at the sofa table for a roomier option.
