You have so many options. Have you heard of brick and batten? They’re an exterior design firm. Your house could be absolutely fabulous with the right changes.

so you’re thinking white with cedar... Maybe cedar accent around the door? I’d just paint or limewash your brick, no need to stucco. Are you wondering about stucco as far as installing the planks and how you might install them over the brick?

If you can paint your windows (providing they aren’t vinyl), I’d paint them black.

Lighter cream windows and trim. New light shining down on the house numbers. New garage door with all the glass. Paving stone driveway. Put the truck, auto supplies and garbage cans away in the garage.

Thank you everyone! Anyone experience with painted brick? Is it too much maintenance? Does it destroy the brick? Could I use wood around the door without painting the brick? Maybe a contrast darker wood?

I love the simple lines of your house. I would go MUCH darker with the trim, Sherwin Williams black fox is a favorite of mine. Upgrading the driveway will define the entrance.

As far as painting the brick, you’ll need to come to your conclusions about that. It doesn’t ruin the brick per say, but it’s irreversible and will require repainting at some point. Romabio limewash can be tested, as in removed for up to 5 days, if you want to look into that product.

There’s a lot you can do without painting the brick.

What color grey are they using in the pics above?

I’m concerned cause I have a over hang around the whole house. Do you paint the under part grey/black or white if brick stays the same?

I would probably paint the under part the same as the accent siding you go with (if you keep the brick), like the first photo. In one of the photos that under part matches the window trim...in one it’s white...it’s really up to you and what you like. Not sure what colors they are using in the above photos. But this looks close to your brick? and might help give you a starting point. (Not a pro).

if iron ore is too dark, SW urbane bronze below is a nice color too. I’ve been looking into that one to go with my terra-cotta roof.

Don't paint the brick. Paint trim dark. Get an MCM style garage and front door.

Consider the kinds of landscaping often seen in front of MCM houses--more sculptural shrubs, grasses, hardscaping. Cement is sometimes an interior and exterior element in MCM houses as shown in the driveway below. What year was your house built? It doesn't necessarily seem like a true midcentury, but you can create the vibe a bit.

The house itself is lovely, just go with dark bronze trim and garage door, maybe replace numbers with something larger and more contemporary.

Tested darker trim color... all the greener makes it look green even though dark gray.
