Thanks so much for the kind words and feedback. That site is new to us, but I’ll be sure to give it a look now. I didn’t want to say too much and get feedback, but we keep coming back to geen, blue or charcoal. We think darker would pair better but honestly have no idea so here we are!

The color of the fascia is a nice neutral. Posting a close up of the brick might also be helpful for color options. Great house, lovely setting.

Thanks for your feedback and excuse our yard bags. The brick is interesting and has character. Ranges from pinks and whites to even blacks and blues.

When I looked at your photos, I thought of a charcoal to compliment the brick. Perhaps someone on the site will do a mock up for you. One of these days I hope to figure out how to do them myself, but not yet. Congratulations on your new home!

What color is the roof and will you be replacing windows? Hoping there is a talented landscape architect in your area who can suggest the right plants for your MCM jewel.

Charcoal has been the most recent favorite (which leads to all kinds of questions as I’ve discovered about every shade of charcoal BM and SW has to offer). Thank you!

The roof is a dark greyish color. The windows eventually but that’s a down the line project. Some have been updated more recently, like a nice sliding window in the front. Certainly agree on landscape architect, that’s on the wish list for front and back yard.

I think the white windows blend somewhat with the beige trim, but I feel like there should be some additional or at least more complementary window(s) on the left side. Not sure what exactly - I tried playing around with it, but it's something to consider.

I also wonder if painting the brick and siding on the entire left side of the house would balance it out a bit and really accentuate the brick around the beautiful windows?

This is my very rudimentary sketch of what I mean... Both top and bottom sections painted the same color (either the same tan or charcoal or ?). Consider if you plan to replace windows whether dark frames would look better. Benjamin Moore online Paint visualizer allows you to "paint" any area you want on a picture of your house. Maybe do some playing around with that to get some ideas of what looks good.

SW urban bronze perhaps

The current color makes the brick really blend any other color will make it pop as they say. Are you ready for that as it is red also?

I used the color picker in Photoshop to pick 2 colors that are in the brick. Just showing you this to see if you like either of these affects. Who knew blending with brick would be so hard. Best of luck;

I think a green will go well with the brick. The siding is not the interesting thing about the house so I would blend it with the brick and try to make the roofline and windows pop out.

I'd also try to make that small window disappear so make the trim the same color as the siding.

You mentioned the brick had some blue in it so I tired a few blues.

I like green too, but you're in the middle of a sea of green for a good part of the year, so that can also be a daunting choice to find the perfect one. Don't know how many of these yellow bricks there are, but that's a nice creamy color you might consider.

The Urbane Bronze is the best I have seen of the suggestions above.

@er612 and @tozmo1 thank you both for your countless mock ups. I had no idea this post would generate so much traction. It’s my first time posting on here and glad I did. It’s also funny that the last image search I was doing before posting on here was urbane bronze and I see that has received several votes. It almost seemed to have green hues in some lights and browns in others and a rich charcoal in most.

I actually also like the blue mock up much more than I thought as well. Maybe a Hale navy (or darker). Thanks for the lively discussion, you’ve all convinced me we cannot go wrong with charcoal, green or blue.

One of the classics MCM Colors is a deep red - the red you have is pinky and looks faded.

Cleaning up the trim will make everything look cleaner and nicer.

Just an FYI

These look like they are planted way too close together. The previous owner of my home did something similar and having 2 out of every 3 removed 5 years after planting was expensive.

Find out what they are and how far apart they should be planted and thin them while they are still easy to remove.

That's a wonderful first home and looks well maintained - congratulations. From the examples you've been given, I would go with one of the darker greens, or darker brown. My own single story MCM is dark unsweetened chocolate brown - all of it, no brick other than built in planters in front - and in searching back through neighborhood photos, has been this color since built 1955. I have no plans to change it. I like the way it blends into the landscape as though a part of it, and not something just dropped into place from somewhere else ;0) I think blue would have that effect on your home with the treed background.

One thing the PO had done here was paint the underside of the soffits warm white. I think if the darker color, it would appear a little dark when inside looking out...you might want to keep that in mind when painting along your parking and basketball hoop area and keep the part the overhangs the brick light colored on the underside. No one will notice from outdoors.
