what color to paint walls?
Need bathroom paint ideas. Cabinets are dark walnut. Granite has browns, white, and grays. Tile is beige. I also want to keep the floral window treatment. The bathroom was a dark brown which was nice but too much of a poo poo brown. I tried classic gray...too yellow. Tried Dorian Gray...to putty looking. I’m going crazy!

Comments (3)Here's his picture right side up. Click to enlarge it. Was this picture taken at night? Is there much light coming into the room? Is the 'feature' wall paneled? Unless you have plans to make the wall a feature by adding art, etc. I'd paint it the same color as the other walls, as it appears that the room could use some lightening up. 3 years agoIf you would like a grey, maybe Benjamin Moore’s Edgecom Gray. I like Benjamin Moore’s Natura Line.

3 years agolast modified: 3 years agomake sure your bulbs are a cooler temp. (3500K - 4000K) Otherwise you'll get the yellow hue on every color you try.
I think your granite/tile and vanity are just too overwhelming to do any color except a neutral. I'd let the shower curtain take care of being the accent color. Perhaps try and do a picture over the toilet w/some greens, but keep the wall a light neutral.
Dorian Gray is in the lavender column, you want something warmer.
Try Pale Oak and White Dove for the trim
or, these are warmer grays that lean a little taupe
and a very creamy white if you want to go lighter on the walls.
try doing something like this over the toilet using the darker brown shelving (to match the vanity. or even glass shelving) w/some artwork or accessories
