Thank you Annie. I am amazed at how easy it is to arrange flowers with a frog. I purchased that ceramic vase at the Flower Show and use it all the time and it inspired me to order extra frogs of varying sizes that I can put in other vases.

My sister spotted it, I never would have. This was in her yard. One egg left to hatch. Hope nothing gets them, they are only about a foot up from the ground.

Geraniums in bloom currently in the garden. I love geraniums.

This waterlily is named 'Hollandia'. I was very happy to see it bloom yesterday. I had thought I had lost it. It is badly in need of repotting, and I will do it as soon as this bloom fades, day after tomorrow.

We have recently been having a bit of a bat problem. If they were living in an old barn like Annie's we'd leave them be, but we can't allow them to roost under our eaves. I think we have convinced them to move on as I haven't seen any up there for the last three mornings. They are still coming around to hunt at night which is fine, but they have to roost elsewhere. They make a terrible mess which is both unsanitary and unsightly. But, they are cute little things!

Annie I just cut some younger more tender leaves and stems off when I harvest salad greens.... and this crop of beets is more or less new to me... as the last beets were grown when my girls were 2-7 years old, while now, they are 43 and 45. I never lost my desire to have garden fresh veggies... it just isn't possible, when I am gone all summer long. :) Funny enough, I didn't have summer plans, before Covid restricted me.

Adella, I did not recognize that picture as a bicycle seat... wow. :) Guess, I don't see one often enough from that perspective.

Annie, I looked up pallid bats after reading your comment, and while our bats have several of the traits of pallids, they do not hunt near to the ground as described in the information I found. Ours catch insects on the fly at about roof level or higher. I also don't think they are little brown bats; they don't look like the photos I've checked out on the internet. Any help in identifying them is welcome!
