So far you seem to be concentrating on cool colors and neutrals, and on cloudy/rainy/snowy days your apartment will seem rather cheerless. Introduce some warms colors, yellow and terracotta, for instance, with pillows and art. Find some very large abstract prints that have warm and cool colors both. The more wall space you can fill up with art that you love the more furnished your apartment will look even when you don't yet have all your furniture. Also, consider tribal rugs like Gabbeh (check esalerugs.com) instead of modern rugs for a more cozy and eclectic feel. You can return these rugs without charge, and you'll be able to pick pillows and other accessories using the colors taken from the rug. Make sure the rug is as large as you can afford because a larger rug will make your living area look larger and more "furnished". Don't forget books, plants and of course art to make your new home look stylish and warm. Try not to use blues and grays too much; that will just make your rooms look cold and forbidding.

I think they both could work. My first thought was the white, but then I saw CAGE reply for the gray. I have gone and looked back and forth and am totally undecided. I know- not very helpful but at least it seems there is no wrong choice?

I also got the Sven leather bench/coffee table. prices are very reasonable. Then find the accessories. bring in some art or a rug w/color. I really loved the sven in the blue. this would look great w/your floor and cream wall color. (it is cream, right, and not the yellow in the picture?) I’m not sure I understand your dilemma. You have ordered the table and you are unsure about the base color? Do you have dining chairs? Do you have a rug? Right now you have wood, navy blue, and white cabinets/counters. I’d stick with the table with the wood base. Chairs in this fashion…blue/white/modern/dark wood like the table. Target: Williston Forge will give you the white and wood color. Now you need a rug.
