I was in Bismarck this week and one day they had Gold n Plump rotisserie chickens for 3.99. limit of 2. My DS and I went to all 4 grocery stores and got 2 at each. We took it all off the bone and froze it. You cannot buy chicken that cheap and it is already cooked. I always have said that is the best tasting brand.

Safeway had a full-meal-deal for $5/8 pieces of chicken(baked or fried), side of Hormel potatoes & 2 litre Coke, then gave us $5 off any purchase w/ our store card = Free! Did that 2 weeks in a row. Found sweet Italian sausage for $1.48lb(purchased 5 pounds & froze it). A dozen link breakfast sausage for $1.29(purchased 5 pkgs. & froze them). A dozen glazed doughnuts, $1.29.

Yes! We recently went out of town to do our grocery shopping as our local grocer is the only game in town and they take advantage of the situation with ridiculously high prices. One of the stores we visited had a one day only special - 40 pounds of either chicken thighs or boneless chicken breasts for $10. Only 25 cents per pound! We snapped up a box of the thighs, and when we got home, packaged them in groups of eight. We grilled a pack the other night and they are really nice quality with none of the bruising that is often found around the bones.

I think they may have been packaged for restaurants. Since the lockdown started and shortages have been an issue, we've seen quite a few restaurant packs of various food items at the grocery store due to the closure of so many restaurants and the re-directing of food to the grocery stores.

Whatever the reason was that the market had them, I was thrilled!

My order of yeast is coming Monday from Sam's Club. The price has not gone up. I will freeze it.

It takes 3.78 of our litres to make a U.S. gal. While a litre of 10% cream is often $3.99 at our major drug store's grocery aisle, often a litre of 5% goes for $4.39 - don't ask me to explain that! Fairly frequently either of them are on sale for about $1.99. The other day they had a "$3.00 off" sticker on a litre of 5%, as there was only a couple of days left on "Best before" code ... so I figured that $1.39 was a good buy. When it went through the register, the quoted price was "$3.51" ... so the "$3.00 off" meant that I paid 51 cents. As Canadian pennies expired a couple of years ago, most stores drop an additional 2 cents ... and if it's 3 cents over - you pay a nickel. I was buying a 4-litre bag of 2% milk, which is often on sale at "3.97", but it was Senior's Thursday, so with the store's loyalty card, I was to pay $3.18. Had the cream not been on sale, I wouldn't have bought it, so I saved an additional 2 cents that I'd have been charged for the milk ... bringing my actual price for the cream down to 49 cents. Nice price for 1/3.78 part of a gallon of cream. ole joyfuelled ... who also gets fuelled by getting a bargain

I found 2 shirts at a thrifts store for DH. He usually wears a 4XLT and these were 3XLT. I looked at them and I thought they looked huge. I thought they might fit him and I decided if I am out of 4.50 so be it. I brought them home and he tried them on and they fit him. One is a VanHeusen and one is a Haggar. He will only wear long sleeves and I felt really good about finding them. I usually have to pay around 30 dollars for 1. Someone said the VanHeusen is a 40 dollar shirt.

Nicole do I see a Fleur-de-lis on the table in the scroll work? It's gorgeous! Lots of great deals. I went to goodwill today and scored a few deals. I got a brand new with tags, Lands End reversible Down coat for $9.99! I got a few cute tops that were 75% off today so about a dollar each. Got 2 new Santa's to add to my Christmas collections. There was a Salton Belgian waffle maker, new, for $3. I didn't buy it unfortunately. I just don't have much storage space in this house. Congrats on the deals everyone!

I found one pair of Hokas today at TJ Maxx. They were 9 1/2 ( I am usually an 8 1/2 or 9) . I tried them on and they were actually pretty comfy.........but they were blue and orange and $79.99. I think if they looked a bit more "normal" I might have bought them. I want to be able to wear sneakers with a little nicer outfit ( like I was wearing today, for when we travel.... still casual but a step up from gym clothes).. These really looked like clown shoes on me and for the price, I just couldn't. But I was excited to see them in TJM. I would have been happy with the ones Jane shared above. These were like medium blue with orange flames. oh well.

I just started another post about skechers on sale 2 pairs for $40 at Famous Footwear. Have to use the code from Brads Deals at checkout. Limited selection of styles but there's sandals and shoes.

Kroger has chicken tenders for .99/# recently. We bought 20#. I can always buy chicken quarters for .49/# here any day of the week.

I did not know HOUZZ owned Pro supply.com. I cancelled my existing sink order with another supplier, talked to a rep. & saved $135 over what I was going to pay!

I used 20.00 in Kohl’s cash I had along with a store code for another 20-25% off and got a 30.00 pair of Sketcher sandals for 5.13 including tax.

My 1st trip to Joann Fabric Store since March. 6.5" of 100% Cotton Camo fabric, $1.88. Enough to make 3 masks for DH with solid color liners. This pattern is a really good fit! I made one for me too! His and hers. ☺

Made a trip to Lowe's garden center-- early morning and very few people there. I picked up in the gallon size containers, 2 Hydrangeas & 2 snow ball bushes that were heat fatigued (needed water) for $5 each. 4 Sun patients for $1 ea and a whole flat of petunias for $3!
