I have a very strange problem with my scarlet runner bean seedlings. They seem fine at first, but the first little leaves have trouble unfurling, and soon turn gray or yellow in spots. They are also very leggy, though that might have to do with the limited sun in the spot I started them (they’re in a very sunny spot right now, and have been for about two weeks) Looked at one under a microscope, and the roots seemed fine, except for a thinner than expected tap root. First time growing runner beans, and the seeds are from my grandmother, so I honestly have no idea how old they are. Can anyone tell me what’s wrong?
