water leaking,first floor window
Comments (1)Two issues come to mind. You have ice damming causing water to back up under the roof shingles and running down inside the outside wall. Even though there's a floor above doesn't mean that one would also leak. It depends on the path of the water. Is there ice on the roof? Is water getting in behind the frozen gutters? The second issue could be that the second floor bath is causing the leak. If the flow is intermittant, it could be the drain pipes. If it's constant, it could be a pin hole in the supply pipe. A little detective work will determine which is the culprit. Ron...See MoreWater leak inside window
Comments (3)Tells us nothing about your conditions, you need to take pictures for us. Also this should not attempt to be fixed from the inside and will more than likely require the removal of the siding and the window. If you have a leak that bad you have a major issue there that needs to be dealt with promptly and properly and I would suggest getting a competent contractor involved immediately if not sooner....See MoreWater leaking from window frame and ceiling
Comments (4)We are having the same the oroblem. Our first floor window lieaks above the top from the frame. This 1st story window is directly below the 2nd floor window. We have caulked the second story window and caulked the brick mortar. It still leaks when we have a blowing rain, The first level window frame is slightly damaged but the window above it is fine, It has to be coming from the 2nd floor because the first level has a nice dry wrap around porch protecting it, Thanks...See MoreWater leak from the window top

Maybe pitcures from the exterior would help. From both 10 to 15 ft and back as well as a close up of the window head, as well as the roof andsiding area above the window....See MoreCaitlin Gamache
