Comments (102)Put just the one above the TV for now. That might work with just one piece because it looks like the same width as the TV, which is a good thing :) When your console comes in and you hang the art, we can experiment with having a vase at one end to see how it looks. You aren't restricted to just wall art. You just don't want to get too busy on the wall and console. So some of this will be trial and error to get the right look. As to the love seat: it does need to move to the left if it stays in the room. If you had a smaller end table there you could probably pick up 6 to 10 inches. If both end tables were smaller then you could move the sofa down too and pick up more room on the love seat wall. Are you keeping the chair in the room? It would be ideal if you could keep the sofa on the long wall and the chair on the wall where the love seat is now and find another place in your home for the love seat. But I understand if that isn't in your plan....See MoreNeed living room advice - Chairs, coffee table
Comments (67)Julie, Here are the pics of dining room visible from the living room. Need to add drapes here as well. The art can change (if required, but prefer to make it work) and chandelier HAS to change, but would like to keep everything else. I know the rug is small, but it's comfortable and doesn't bother me (I trained my mind because I have no choice lol), so don't want to change it. Atleast for now. Would the Kravet fabric I posted above work in the dining room? Thank you....See MoreCan't Find A Coffee Table To Finish My Living Room
Comments (8)That would work but I don't want to ship from New Hampshire as you point out. 😀 However even with shipping, it is still a relative bargain as Chairish has what appears to be the same table for $5500 plus $600 shipping. 😱 I am also reluctant to large items over the internet because I had a bad experience when the chest was defective and I was expected to pack it up and arrange for shipping it back. I would order internet through a design establishment because that is standard in the trades and my designer would have the relationship with the design house....See MoreWhat does my living room need (and what color coffee table is best?)
Comments (7)I think the room looks nice. And I really like the blue paint color you chose but it doesn't complement the FP. I would get an oval glass & brass coffee table. I would put the cabinet the TV is sitting on the wall where the pine cabinet is and get a TV stand that is at least 25% wider than the TV and a bit lower. It would fill the wall better. I would get it closer to the brown of the FP. I would prefer art over the FP because the mirror is reflecting anything worth seeking twice. If you move that tv cabinet, you could then hang the mirror over it and it would reflect the art over the FP. I think the chair would be better where the plant is now....See MoreElk Springs Resort
