I agree, cut off all the plants and soak it with a hose to get rid of remaining spider mites. Neem oil is suppose to help too. Ive used it on aphids and the first time it didnt work that well but it was better the second time. Also keep the plant outside and water well. Try not to put it in full sun. These are strong plants so they can handle neglect pretty well. By the end of the summer they should look pretty good but dont be surprised if the spider mites do return when it goes indoors. Well, because it was only on 2 leaves and even so, the infestation was on the tip of both, I just cut the tips of those 2 leaves. Would that hurt the palm enough to kill it, or will it be okay? Was it enough to get rid of the infestation, or will it come back?

Agreed, I live in zone 2b so there are only about three months of the year when the weather is good for outdoor palms. I did have her outside for quite a bit before the repotting and when she was inside I had her in my living room which is basically all windows. I definitely will not be getting any new Majesty palms after this one but I'm really concerned about the pests because I do not want them to continue killing the palm and/or spreading to my other plants.

last pic looks fine .. is that after you removed all the old stuff??? i dont understand the first pic ... all palms shed the oldest frond or two come declination of the sun.. aka.. winter ... so that would be normal ... desert plants usually dont need misting .... and most peeps feel misting is useless anyway.. skip that ... water a plant when it needs it .. insert finger ... AND FIND OUT ... arbitrary schedules tend to cause problems ... because you are relying on a calendar.. and not the pot/media the plant is in ... im not sure it needs the direct light in the window.. if you have other plants that might need it ... off to the side might be good enough ... []though i dont know what you mean the corner the window is in .. maybe it is already off to the side????] lets try not to fix something that isnt broken.. aka ... love it to death ... ken
