Thanks for your help, tropicbreesent. I will repot it with an orchid mix and try just keeping the soil slightly moist, rather than watering deeply and letting it dry completely between waterings. Hopefully this does the trick! (And do you think it is worth it to keep a pebble tray beneath for added humidity in the air?) If anyone else has thoughts, I'd welcome them too! The plant in the original post has been over-watered and perhaps over-fertilized or suffering from a high level of salts in the soil from tapwater or fertilizer solutions - same with the plant in the first image upthread. Some growers think because in situ plants are often found growing in riparian settings (streamside), they prefer or enjoy overly water-retentive media. The plant can adapt to inundation by restructuring its root structure (to deal with either terrestrial of bog settings), but it's unable to deal well with transitioning back and forth between conventional container culture and some form of hydroculture. As long as a plant hasn't contracted one of the damping off fungal (root) infections, recovery depends primarily on the cultural conditions it's asked to deal with. If those conditions are near or beyond the limits it's genetically programmed to deal with, the plant will do poorly. If cultural conditions are all 'in the sweet spot' it should reward the grower with good growth and the vibrancy that comes with a high state of vitality. A fast draining medium you can keep evenly moist (not soggy or saturated), room for roots to grow, an appropriate nutritional supplementation program, plenty of warmth and bright light are all conditions for which your plant will show its approval. I'm not experienced with that. I've seen several similar-looking Philodendron 'swiss cheese' but never had any. Last summer I planted 2 ailing indoor plants outdoors in ideal spots and they perked up and ended up doing well. Both were aroids: EE's. This spring I did that with 4 more indoor plants that were on the fence: 1 Caladium, 1 Elephant Ear(Yautia?), 1 banana, & 1 Ligustrum bonsai and they've all perked up except for the Ligustrum. It is doing worse. I removed 50% of the Ligustrum roots in the fall so I could place it in a smaller pot. Maybe that was too much of a shock. All but the Ligustrum have cages or small fence around them to keep rodents from chewing them. (BTW - this evening I found a nest of rabbits just 12 inches from the Ligustrum) The plants all have ideal light, wind protection, and water. 5 out of 6 is not bad and I am not certain why that has worked. If it's the warm season in your part of the world and you have an outdoor growing area, that might be worth a try. Protected Yautia or Eddoes...not sure: Ligustrum on top right:

Hello @osulala & @damask_rose_zone9b An update on my propagation, all of the cuttings has rooted perfectly. Just potted them up in soil yesterday. The mother plant is growing new leaf from the node. But the way it looks like the new growth is a really small leaf and has no fenestration. Any idea why is that? Before the cut all leaves had lots of holes in them. And the way it looked like even the propagated sections are growing small leaves without holes. Why is that? It gets enough light. My monstera deliciosa is doing fine at the same location. Have great fenestration on them. Thank you
